antithesis

I recently told a friend. There seems to be an antithesis to everything. In life we see death, In success, failure takes a first stpe and happiness best friend is sorrow. Sadness thats a little bit of what i have been feeling lately and for a reason.....
In a world where as the years go by, murder rates, bombings and rapes seemingly increase whats our response? An increase in the number of sexually explicit shows, more strip clubs to fuel human lust and greed. An increase in national security budget. Should we not take a time to consider things like humility and compassion, words that the Worlds' Religions have enthused for so long? People often ask what their purpose on life is. I have no honest idea. Then people ask what they are best act. Everyones' talents differ but it would seem. Mankinds greatest talent is in destruction.

computer stuck day

Whew five hours in front of the computer is no joke. Especially when it was spent trying to get the timetable that i wanted. Still no complaints because i finally managed to get the timetable that i wanted! I certainly had a lot of help! I guess it just goes to show that if you hang on for just long enough things will go your way. I was about to give up i gotta agree and rearrange my whole timetable to take all the subjects i didn't plan for and am i glad i didn't !
Spent quite a bit of time talking toa friend last night. Was surprised to find out she and another gal graduated already! I guess i always thougtht of them in a school context. Well i am glad for them and it was really nice talking to her. Hope she takes good care!

stupid subject registration

AHHHHHHHHHhhh! Fed up with the lousy registration protocol of NTU. It takes 3 hours to register for next semester's subjects and counting ( i am still waiting for there to be vacancies)and then i don't even get the time slots that i want! Talk about a test of patience. Well no lousy server is going to get the best of me!
I wonder though what the registration process for the other UNIs are like? Somebody give me some feedback thank you!!!!!!

some weeknd questions

Near the end of my Saturday night had a two maybe three hour conversation that at least mellowed me somewhat. It also made me think about a few things. One of them is would i wait say six years for a relationship? Hmmmmmm.... i guess if the other party isn't ready and i knew she wouldn't or was unlikely to have a change of heart..... then yes! ( of course i'd have to like her ! :> )

temper temper sunday

Ahhh Sunday. Some &^(&@ crashed into my brother's call totally spoilt the later part of the day for us. Was in a slight temper earlier but when i heard the news whooooo thats when the fire was really blazing i guess it was a good thing i wasn't there.....

hectic saturday

Wow wow saturday. started the day with a quarrel. I thnik my temper has been really bad recently somebody tame the beast inside me! THen i spent like 8 hours practising with my friend's band, i was supposed to sing for one song but we couldn't coordinate that so in the end i played rhythm for them the whole time. Eight hours we spent practising and we recorded one song no wonder the band is called aimless! :>
