antithesis

I recently told a friend. There seems to be an antithesis to everything. In life we see death, In success, failure takes a first stpe and happiness best friend is sorrow. Sadness thats a little bit of what i have been feeling lately and for a reason.....
In a world where as the years go by, murder rates, bombings and rapes seemingly increase whats our response? An increase in the number of sexually explicit shows, more strip clubs to fuel human lust and greed. An increase in national security budget. Should we not take a time to consider things like humility and compassion, words that the Worlds' Religions have enthused for so long? People often ask what their purpose on life is. I have no honest idea. Then people ask what they are best act. Everyones' talents differ but it would seem. Mankinds greatest talent is in destruction.
